Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
I would like to say a big well done to the girls for all their hard work so far in fifth class. I hope you and your families enjoy the holidays and have a very happy Christmas, best wishes for the New Year...from Miss Fitzpatrick
A busy week for fifth class...
On Tuesday we
went to Castle manor Nursing Home to sing for the people there.We got into pairs and set off. When we arrived
there, we lined up and started to sing the songs we had learnt.When we had
finished everyone clapped and we got crisps and a mineral. Then we walked back
to school.
As a reward,
teacher gave us no homework. Hurray!!
On Wednesday we went to see “The Strange
Path”. It was about Little Red Riding Hood’s granddaughter. We all thought it
was very good.
After that, we went carol singing for St. Vincent
de Paul. Then we all walked back to school.

Carol singing for St Vincent De Paul
A huge well done to the girls who sang beautifully down town today. A massive €1080 was raised at the carol singing and the money will go to SVP. Fair play to all involved.
