World Book Day

Yesterday was a really exciting day.It was world book day.I know for some people it might sound boring but trust me it’s not.Our class were going to the book shop and we were really excited.First we had to get our homework down and corrected.After that everybody rushed through the door and got their coats. We almost forgot that teacher also handed some book tokens to buy the book we wanted.There was lots of written work on the token.You could win 2,000 euro! Anyways as I was saying we got our coat’s and partnered up.I was really sad that I could not be with my best friend.She was the line leader so she had to partner up with the door holder.Then we set off.It was not far from school.We were all in front of the book store.It wasn't that big but I liked it.When we went inside everybody rushed to the books they wanted.We couldn't decide which book to choose but at the end we knew what book we wanted.There were lots of books like cooking, adventure, princesses, coloring and lots more. At the end we all paid and got a free book mark that was really colourful. Then we finally got into our partners and set off to go back to school. I bought a book called A Fairytale Trap.We were all exhausted after going up the big hill but we were all happy and had a lovely and wonderful day.
