Shape Shifters

3D Shapes

Tuesday the 28th  of April we made 3D shapes with straws and blu-tac and sellotape. I made a square-based pyramid it was a bit frustrating .We all made different shapes and they were different sizes too. Evelina made a cube, Leyza made a cuboid and Charlotte made a triangular-based pyramid and another name for it is a tethahedron. Some also made a type of prism. Here are some examples of 3D shape names. A sphere ,a cuboid, a cube ,a cylinder ,a cone ,some pyramids and prisms for example a triangular prism or hexagonal prism and a hemisphere.

Fun in the sun

Weather Watch

The weather was very good last week it was around 15 degrees. It was so warm that some of us wished we had shorts as a school uniform. The heat was really warm and some of us that went to sports after school were tired and just wanted to lie down on the grass. Everyone enjoyed the weather but there was one thing that I found annoying when it became really hot. First of all on the hot days this was what I did. First of all I went home and had my dinner, went to the shop and got an ice-cream, did my homework and lied down on the grass with my dog. The warm weather was good while it lasted but as you no its Ireland and now this week the rainy weather is back, so good bye sunshine hello rain.
