The girls were very inquisitive today during their safety talk from gardai Cathal and Oonagh.

Competition Winners

This week we had lots of competition winners;

Petra won the Green School's Art Competition. She has now been entered into the All Ireland Art Competition.  

Sorcha won a cinema voucher for her short story about friendship. 

Rachel won a prize in the friendship week raffle, She was entered into the raffle for showing kindness to her friend.

Well done to all three girls, we are very proud of you all! 

Friendship Week

This week was Friendship week. Everyday we sang a song called Count On Me. Yesterday for homework we had to write a story or poem about friendship.

This is mine;

Friends are the best thing you could ever wish for,

They help you get up when you fall through the door.

You have fun with them and you laugh with them,

You cry with them and you fight with them.

Bad friends are like the waves in the sea,

They keep hitting us all the time with glee.

But good friends are like the stars in the sky,

They stay with us forever and teach us how to fly.

I’m glad I found such a good friend in you,

Because when you’re around, I never feel sad or blue.

10 at 10 for Operation Transformation

On Friday we did 10 at 10 for operation transformation. This involved the whole school exercising for 10 minutes. We did jumping jacks mountain climbers, jogging on the spot and lots of other exercises. It was great fun.

Junior Entrepreneur Project

Hi everybody, today I am going to be talking about the JEP. We are going to be selling dream catchers. If you would like to buy one come to St.Clare's school, Cavan, date soon to be confirmed. Our project is called Dreams Beams it is called that because it beams in the night. We are on our 5th week of the project. Catch up with me later!
