Our big performance

On Tuesday we preformed our Cinderella Cavanfella  play. We were all very excited. We  came to school at 6:30 pm. We had to go straight up to the computer room. We got our face paint done and we had to warm up our voices. We did really funny sounds. Then we were ready to preform. We were all so nervous. We preformed the X Factor. It was really good. When we took a break half way through we walked back up to the computer room. The teachers gave us a bar and a drink. Now it was time to do the rest of the play. Soon the play was over. We had to collect our stuff and then meet our parents in the hall. The next day we did it all again for our  school and St. Felims.

Knitting Classes

On Monday a woman called Orla Maguire came in and showed our whole class how to knit. She was really nice as she was always helping us when we got stuck. We got our own bag, needles and wool. We all had different colours. Some of us already knew how to knit so it was easy for them. It was hard the first time but at the end of the lesson everyone knew how to do it. She told us a poem to make it easier and it goes like this

-In through the front door, run around the back,

Hop through the window, out comes Jack­-

Orla comes every Monday. I am looking forward to our next lesson with her.

Skipping workshop

On Friday the 7^th of February me, my class and teacher went to the hall. When we got to the hall there was a man called mark there. He was going to teach all of us how to skip. But most of us knew how to skip. He was showing us loads of other ways to skip. It was so fun. After that there was a show. Loads of other girls were in the show. I was in it and I was nervous. All other girls were showing different ways to skip. It was so fun. My legs were sore after the show. I hope we do it again sometime.

Story nana

We received a lovely treat today. We visited the story room to listen to part two of The Theatre Cat read by the brilliant Story Nana! 

Jack and the beanstalk

Last Wednesday me and the whole school went to the hall. We were all getting ready to watch a play called Jack and the Beanstalk. Jack popped out on to the stage and shouted “HELLO!” Anyway he carried on with the play .My favourite part was when the beanstalk grew and also when they kissed afterwards. They had to pay 1000 euro for their house rent and the mother went mad it was so funny we all laughed at her. Humpy dumpy was there and he looked like an egg.  I think the play was really good because they had great dancing and expressions .It was really funny and was a great play. I sat beside Mecheile, my best friend and Leticia. I really enjoyed the play.

My Vacation in the Philippians

Hi my name is Leyzanelle. I am doing a blog about my vacation in Phillippines and when I went to Manila. I saw my mom’s sister and my new baby cousin. Soon we had a flight to Iloilo city my hometown. We met my family and cousins in Iloilo. We went to a festival called Dinagyang festival. It is about music and food. After two weeks I went back to Manila city and said goodbye to family and friends and especially my dad. I finally arrived in Ireland.
